Barry Bennett

Barry Bennett has been active in Conservative Politics for decades. After having managed the Presidential campaign of Dr. Ben Carson, Bennet was named by President Trump as a “Senior Advisor” to his 2016 campaign. Bennett has worked in politics all over the world.

Bennett joins Tactic after having built a very successful government affairs practice in 2017. His firm represented Causes, Corporations, and Countries.

Providing strategy and execution to clients has been his forte. Helping clients understand the intricacies of the policy making process and building a plan to gain input on the outcome his mission.

Having worked in both Congress and the Executive Branch, Bennett’s experience over the years has proven immensely valuable.

Matt Schlapp

Matt Schlapp has been a prominent voice in national and international political and public policy efforts for over 25 years.

With previous positions in the US Congress, the White House, and various corporate and non profit positions, he has been able to understand and anticipate the political trends that have resulted in tumultuous change in America and around the globe.

He has chaired CPAC for almost a decade and under his direction with the assistance of his wife Mercedes and a strong board and staff, this major non profit has experienced explosive growth, political impact and expanded into a global brand.

In addition Schlapp and his wife founded Cove Strategies which has successfully advised a variety of important clients for over a decade.

Schlapp is active in media, has a prominent online presence and comments on politics and public policy in America and overseas. He has worked for or advised the last 3 GOP presidents.

The Schlapp’s attend the Basilica of St. Mary in Old Town Alexandria, VA, where their 5 girls have attended school. He is a Knight of Malta and chaired Catholics for Trump in 2020.

He has previously served on a variety of boards before the onset of the woke movement including: The National Association of Manufacturers, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Political Council, the University of Kansas DC Internship program, the Hugo Wall School at Wichita State University and the Eisenhower Memorial Foundation. He was appointed by President Trump to serve on the Board of Trustees of the Library of Congress.

Schlapp keeps close ties to his home state of Kansas where his extended family resides. He received a Masters degree from Wichita State University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame where his two oldest daughters attend.

Coyne is the Founder and CEO of Starboard, LLC. Over the previous two presidential election cycles Coyne has worked hand-in-glove with numerous senior administration officials to raise tens of millions of dollars online for the Trump Campaign and related entities. Coyne’s Starboard also produced digital video content for the Trump Campaign garnering over 2.5 billion views during the 2024 election. Jose Mallea is the managing partnet of Forward Global Miami. He joins Tactic as a senior advisor, with more than 25 years of experience in the political and business world. He began his career in government, serving in the U.S. Small Business Administration, the U.S. Department of State, and as personal aide to White House chief of staff Andy Card in the administration of President George W. Bush.

Mallea served as chief of staff to the mayor of Miami and chief of staff to the mayor of Miami-Dade County. He has worked on numerous presidential campaigns and was campaign manager for Marco Rubio's first U.S. Senate campaign in 2010, which POLITICO rated the No. 1 best-executed campaign of that election cycle.
