Barry Bennett

Barry Bennett has been active in Conservative Politics for decades. After having managed the Presidential campaign of Dr. Ben Carson, Bennet was named by President Trump as a “Senior Advisor” to his 2016 campaign. Bennett has worked in politics all over the world.

Bennett joins Tactic after having built a very successful government affairs practice in 2017. His firm represented Causes, Corporations, and Countries.

Providing strategy and execution to clients has been his forte. Helping clients understand the intricacies of the policy making process and building a plan to gain input on the outcome his mission.

Having worked in both Congress and the Executive Branch, Bennett’s experience over the years has proven immensely valuable.

Barry and his family live in Alexandria, VA.

Matt Schlapp

Matt Schlapp has been a prominent voice in national and international political and public policy efforts for over 25 years.

With previous positions in the US Congress, the White House, and various corporate and non profit positions, he has been able to understand and anticipate the political trends that have resulted in tumultuous change in America and around the globe.

He has chaired CPAC for almost a decade and under his direction with the assistance of his wife Mercedes and a strong board and staff, this major non profit has experienced explosive growth, political impact and expanded into a global brand.

In addition Schlapp and his wife founded Cove Strategies which has successfully advised a variety of important clients for over a decade.

Schlapp is active in media, has a prominent online presence and comments on politics and public policy in America and overseas. He has worked for or advised the last 3 GOP presidents.

The Schlapp’s attend the Basilica of St. Mary in Old Town Alexandria, VA, where their 5 girls have attended school. He is a Knight of Malta and chaired Catholics for Trump in 2020.

He has previously served on a variety of boards before the onset of the woke movement including: The National Association of Manufacturers, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Political Council, the University of Kansas DC Internship program, the Hugo Wall School at Wichita State University and the Eisenhower Memorial Foundation. He was appointed by President Trump to serve on the Board of Trustees of the Library of Congress.

Schlapp keeps close ties to his home state of Kansas where his extended family resides. He received a Masters degree from Wichita State University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame where his two oldest daughters attend.

Mercy Schlapp

Mercedes Viana Schlapp is a leading communications expert, political strategist, and media commentator. She has worked at the highest levels of government and non-profit organizations where she focused on managing communications teams and implementing strategic messaging. Schlapp was Assistant to the President and Senior Advisor for Strategic Communications to President Donald J. Trump and served as Senior Advisor for the Trump campaign in 2020. She implemented a successful bilingual Hispanic communications and political outreach campaign and created and produced the Team Trump online programs for the 2020 Trump campaign. Schlapp has extensive media relationships in the English, Spanish, and international press. She is instrumental in expanding the communications and social media footprint of CPAC, supporting the international CPAC efforts, and launching the CPAC Center for Combating Human Trafficking.

Leonardo Scaturice is a results-oriented leader with a strategic vision focused on driving innovation and growth. His expertise in corporate intelligence and strategic business development has allowed him to contribute to projects that are shaping new business paradigms and to advise various companies on their global development.

Scaturice is the Chairman and CEO of COC Global Enterprise, the parent company of Tactic, and stands out as an active venture capitalist, supporting key projects in high-impact sectors such as technology, finance, fashion, and a broad range of services. In addition to his role at COC Global Enterprise, he is the Founder and CEO of OCP TECH, an IT company with global operations and a strong focus on the United States and Latin America markets. Dedicated to optimizing innovation processes in both public and private organizations, OCP TECH has positioned itself as a key player in the sector's digital transformation.

His keen eye for identifying opportunities and his commitment to the development of innovative companies make him a benchmark in the business world.

Soledad Cedro

Soledad Cedro is a leading political communications strategist in the Hispanic world, recognized for her impactful work across the United States, Latin America, and Europe.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Soledad moved to the United States at a young age, where she launched a successful career in journalism, earning four Emmy Awards for her excellence in broadcast reporting. She later obtained a Master’s degree in Political Science, which marked the beginning of her transition into the field of political communications.

Laura Arrieta

Laura Arrieta is a seasoned expert in solving complex challenges, fostering customer loyalty, and driving operational excellence. With extensive managerial experience in customer service and corporate operations, she has built a reputation for delivering strategic results and ensuring sustainable growth.

As the Corporate Operations Manager for COC Global Enterprise, the parent company of Tactic, Laura plays a pivotal role in aligning business units with the company’s objectives. She is also a Managing Director at Tactic, where her expertise in cross-functional strategic planning, budget management, and resource allocation has been instrumental in promoting strong business performance.

Laura is a skilled leader who excels in facilitating interdepartmental collaboration and communication to achieve long-term success. In 2024, she was integral to the successful planning and execution of CPAC Argentina, a landmark event in the region’s political landscape.

Jose Mallea

Ryan Coyne

Coyne is the Founder and CEO of Starboard, LLC. Over the previous two presidential election cycles Coyne has worked hand-in-glove with numerous senior administration officials to raise tens of millions of dollars online for the Trump Campaign and related entities. Coyne’s Starboard also produced digital video content for the Trump Campaign garnering over 2.5 billion views during the 2024 election. He maintains close personal relationships with numerous executive branch officials across nearly all departments in the Trump Administration.

Coyne's companies have generated over $100 Million in gross funds for conservative candidates and causes since inception, including the campaigns of many national political figures such as President Donald Trump, Sen. Marco Rubio, Sen. Tim Scott, Rep. Elise Stefanik, Rep. Jim Jordan, and Vivek Ramaswammy as well as organizations like Turning Point USA, Blexit and many others.

Coyne was raised in Malvern, Pennsylvania and attended Cornell University earning a degree in Applied Economics and Management with a specialization in Finance. He is the founder of the Working Warrior Foundation which assists veterans and their families with re-integration into private life post-deployment and a member of the Malvern Prep Athletic Hall of Fame.

Jose Mallea is the managing partnet of Forward Global Miami. He joins Tactic as a senior advisor, with more than 25 years of experience in the political and business world. He began his career in government, serving in the U.S. Small Business Administration, the U.S. Department of State, and as personal aide to White House chief of staff Andy Card in the administration of President George W. Bush.

Mallea served as chief of staff to the mayor of Miami and chief of staff to the mayor of Miami-Dade County. He has worked on numerous presidential campaigns and was campaign manager for Marco Rubio's first U.S. Senate campaign in 2010, which POLITICO rated the No. 1 best-executed campaign of that election cycle.

Most recently, Mallea served as the CEO of the Libre Initiative, the largest conservative Latino outreach organization in the country with operations in 13 states. He currently serves on the boards of the Education Fund of Miami and the Miami Downtown Development Authority.

Caroline Wren

Caroline Wren is a prominent Republican fundraiser and political strategist with deep connections in the America First movement.
